Due to the huge success of the first series of the Putting Quality into the QCF event, CFA announces the launch of a second series of events.

Like the first series, the interactive, full-day workshop is for training providers, verifiers and assessors and will provide expert advice on:
- Ofqual requirements for assessment and quality assurance and CPD
- The Assessment Strategies for Business & Administration, Customer Service and Management and what they mean in practice
- The difference between collecting evidence and assessing learning
- How to assess knowledge and understanding to the right standard
- How to interpret QCF language
- More streamlined methods of assessment that maintain or even raise quality standards
- The difference between Internal Verification and Quality Assurance
- Credit values and what they mean for learners and providers
Workshops will be in the following locations:
- London 14th December 2011 10:00 – 16:00
- Bristol 24th January 2012 10:00 – 16:00
- Newcastle 26th January 2012 10:00 – 16:00
The workshops, at £195 per delegate, will be led by expert trainers who produced the new qualifications for Assessment and Quality Assurance. Each trainer has extensive experience of the QCF from unit writing and qualification design through to trainer training and delivery.
Delegates will enjoy practically focused workshops with the chance to question the expert trainers in a concentrated, small-group discussion. It will give the chance for delegates to share their own ideas about the new qualifications and learn about other providers’ approaches.
