Apprenticeships Scotland

Apprenticeships are government backed training schemes, which provide a structured learning route within a working environment. The schemes are focused on motivated people who are determined to succeed within the workplace. Entry age is 16 but no upper age limit exists.

An Apprenticeship is a great way for individuals to earn as they learn and for employers to discover skilled and talented employees.

Business & Administration Frameworks

Working in partnership with employers, the CfA has developed a framework specifically designed for the Business & Administration Modern Apprenticeship (BAMA) programme. This framework provides both apprentices and employers with a foundation for training employees in Business & Administration. The framework incorporates nationally recognised qualifications such as the Business & Administration SVQ, Core Skills and employer enhancements.

The revised 2005 Business & Administration Modern Apprenticeship (BAMA) framework was re-approved by MAIG on the 17 March 2005.

Please note that centres wanting to deliver the 2005 BAMA framework will need to register with the CfA. To download the 2005 BAMA centre registration form please click here.
