Two sets of standards are available:

Prevention and Management of work-related violence

These standards are designed to support employers and employees in the development of good practice and awareness in the workplace. They cover a full range of functions, from making sure individual actions contribute to a positive and safe working culture, through supporting individuals involved in violent incidents to investigating, evaluating and resolving violent incidents at work. They have been widely imported into other suites of national occupational standards.

Trades Union representatives and Professionals

These standards are fully endorsed by the Trades Union Congress (TUC) and are aimed at Trade Union representatives, particularly workplace, safety and learning representatives (ULRs) and union professional officers.
