The Young Apprenticeship programme is a refreshing way for young people to learn. It’s an opportunity to gain a taste of ‘real work’ whilst continuing with core academic studies. Pupils gain a wide range of enriching experiences that will enhance their future possibilities.

This website will provide you with a detailed insight into the Young Apprenticeship in Business Administration programme. Whether you are a pupil, parent, employer or partner you will find all the information you need.

Distinctive features of the programme include:

Over 2 years, pupil will spend 2 days per week (or equivalent) working towards programme

Pupil will study towards a work-based or work-reated Level 2 nationally recognised qualifications

Qualifications can contribute towards an accelerated post 16 Apprenticeship

Over 2 years, pupil will spend 50 days on work experience and work-based learning

Pupils selected for their degree of ability and motivation

Parents/guardians are actively involved

Programme delivered through a structured Partnership Arrangement

Meets statutory curriculum and delivered, as far as possible, within the set school timetable

Incorporates enterprise and enrichment opportunities

Completion results in a Young Apprenticeship Certificate endorsed by the CfA
